Since its founding in 1925, Community Missions (CMI) has provided a unique blend of services to address the needs of the Niagara community. In general, CMI serves a vulnerable population of individuals that, through a variety of circumstances, have been underserved, marginalized, overlooked and challenging in their presentations and behaviors.

CHOICES Apartment Program
Shared apartment setting to assist clients in refining skills necessary for independent living.
Age 18 and over.
DSS or SSD or SSI PLUS Medicaid OR Private Pay.
Canal View
Home like setting with bedrooms (shared) and shared living spaces. Intensive skills training to prepare for a more independent setting.
Age 18 and over.

Hansen House
Home like setting with bedrooms (single) and shared living spaces. Intensive skills training to prepare for a more independent setting.

Supported Housing
Independent, subsidized housing for adults capable of living independently with some staff support.
Age 18 and over.
SSD, SSI, DSS or work income.
Tenants contribute a percentage based on their income.
Youth Services
R.E.A.C.H. youth services include: Youth Community Residence (Aurora House), Juvenile Intensive Case Management Outreach program (JICM), Juvenile Re-Entry Program, and Family Solutions Program (FSP) therapy that is part of NC probation’s J-RISC.
Up to age 18 – Depends on individual program.
Aurora House receives payment for services through a variety of sources and will work with families to set up the appropriate form of payment for their family’s needs. All other programs within REACH youth services are free for families and youth.
Personalized Recovery Oriented Services
(PROS) with Clinical Treatment. Comprehensive recovery and clinical treatment program designed to integrate treatment, support and rehabilitation.
Age 18 and over.
Medicaid, Medicare or Private Pay.
Respite Services (Niagara Falls)
Emergency housing as an organized alternative to hospitalization providing support, encouragement and assistance with linkages.

Hope House: Peer Recovery Respite Center
Peer operated Hospital Diversion Program. Services offered are: Recovery Line, Respite Beds and Recovery Person Centered Services

Transportation
Transportation of adult SPMI consumers within Niagara County for day programs, medical and rehabilitation appointments and services.

Crisis/Community Services
Dedicated to the restoring the basic fundamental human needs of shelter, food, clothing and safety to all persons and families in crisis. Our help assists beyond their immediate need and empowers individuals through respect and caring to use adversity to gain personal accountability and self-sufficiency in a dignified capacity.
For food and clothing there is no age limitation. For the emergency shelter there is no age limits on children accompanied by a guardian. Unaccompanied individuals must be 18 yrs or older.
The Income eligibilty are obtained by multiplying the yearly Federal income poverty guidelines by 1.85 (of household size and income).
